Their feedback and encouragement have ensured that my story has grown so much. The perfect gift for yourself if you want to take that next step in illustration. And finally: the location of the workshop was so inspiring, so beautiful. I wouldn't have missed this for the world.”

– iIlustrator/author“I loved this workshop so much. Dorien and Mark created a vibrant and relaxing space, and I felt very comfortable when creating my art. The lessons were really informative, and I loved the sharing spirit of the class. Mark prepared a personalized folder for each of us students, which I found quite unique. By looking at my previous illustrations and a short email I sent him, he gave me so much good advice. I was amazingly surprised!"

– iIlustrator“This workshop helped me in a quite a profound way with my picturebook. The individual feedback Mark gave was essential in making my story more to the point and in understanding my personal pitfalls as an artist. It's not always easy, to get from a potentially good idea to a really great result, but Mark does not shy away from what needs to be confronted to help you get there (if you persevere....but no workshop can do that for you!).
Dorien's support was also invaluable; they work together as such a great team to help everyone's progress. The way they generously share their expertise as illustrators is very joyful and inspiring! But most of all, the warmth that Dorien and her family poured into organizing all the details (location, diners, the guest lecture, and much more) made it beautiful. Can think of no better word to describe it! It will be a boost for you as an artist, highly recommended!”
